Capacity

Metlex boasts an annual capacity of 3,000 metric tons, all housed under one roof. Our operations are powered by a hydraulic extrusion press of 1100 metric tons, seamlessly managed by cutting-edge Microprocessor-based technology and a programmable logic control (PLC) system.

Our facility is fully integrated, featuring a Billet casting facility and an in-house foundry furnace to ensure comprehensive production capabilities.

  • We utilize an imported 1100 MT four-column hydraulically operated extrusion press, featuring microprocessor control, facilitating the extrusion of 5-inch diameter billets.
  • Employing an imported high-energy efficient log heater with hot log shear ensures consistent temperature throughout the extrusion process.
  • Our fully automatic Three Head Puller and handling system guarantees the straightness and scratch-free quality of extruded profiles.
  • To maintain the integrity of our aluminum extrusions, we rely on a superior quality handling system and belt conveyor, keeping the metal scratch-free and lustrous.
  • The imported microprocessor-controlled Ageing furnace ensures uniform temperature and airflow during the heat treatment process for extruded profiles.
  • Within our facility, we have in-house alloying and melting furnaces with a 6 MT capacity, "complemented" by an imported Hot Top-Casting machine for billet casting.
  • Incorporating an imported nitriding furnace enhances die treatment, resulting in optimal product finishing standards.
