Capacity
Metlex boasts an annual capacity of 3,000 metric tons, all housed under one roof. Our operations are powered by a hydraulic extrusion press of 1100 metric tons, seamlessly managed by cutting-edge Microprocessor-based technology and a programmable logic control (PLC) system.
Our facility is fully integrated, featuring a Billet casting facility and an in-house foundry furnace to ensure comprehensive production capabilities.
- We utilize an imported 1100 MT four-column hydraulically operated extrusion press, featuring microprocessor control, facilitating the extrusion of 5-inch diameter billets.
- Employing an imported high-energy efficient log heater with hot log shear ensures consistent temperature throughout the extrusion process.
- Our fully automatic Three Head Puller and handling system guarantees the straightness and scratch-free quality of extruded profiles.

- Within our facility, we have in-house alloying and melting furnaces with a 6 MT capacity, "complemented" by an imported Hot Top-Casting machine for billet casting.
